Privacy & texting terms
Plain-English version: we only use your info to fix your stuff and keep you posted. We never sell it.
What we collect
When you book, mail in a device, or message us, we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, email, the device and what’s wrong with it, and — for mail-ins — your return address. While we repair it we keep notes, photos of your device and your payment record.
How we use it
Only to run your repair: to confirm and remind you about appointments, send shipping labels, post updates and photos to your private tracking page, take payment, and honor your warranty. Payments are processed by Square; we never see or store full card numbers.
Who sees it
Just us, plus the services that make the shop run: Google (our records and email), Square (payments), our texting provider, and shipping carriers for mail-ins. We don’t sell, rent or share your information for anyone else’s marketing.
Your tracking page
Each repair gets a private page reached by its ticket number. It shows your first name, device, status, updates and photos — never your phone, email or address. Keep your ticket number to yourself.
Text messages
If you check “Text me about this repair” or give us your number at the counter, Console Doctor will text you about your repair: booking confirmations, reminders, status updates, your tracking link and pickup or payment notices. Message frequency varies with your repair. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, and HELP for help, or call 801-855-6011. Texting is never required to get a repair. Mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with or sold to third parties for marketing.
Keeping it safe
Our records sit behind password-protected accounts, website forms are protected against spam and abuse, and we only keep what we need for your repair, warranty and our tax records.
Questions or deletion
Email ConsoleDoctorUT@gmail.com or call 801-855-6011 and we’ll tell you what we have or delete it (except what we have to keep for tax or warranty records).
